Pistol Lake's Eudae: A Vegan Merino Wool Alternative
These days, our site is getting tons of new eyeballs.
Whether you're simply a casual consumer or a major style expert checking out what's new, it hardly matters – we've got an obligation to teach you all about Pistol Lake and what makes us special.
We've always set out to make the most comfortable, sustainable clothing in the world. And while doing so, we created a vegan alternative to Merino Wool that we've named Eudae [You-Day].
After two years of rigorous development, we finally found the perfect recipe. Our midweight Eudae, or the weight that best emulates Merino's properties, is made from 76% recycled bottles (polyester), 19% Eucalyptus pulp (Tencel), and 5% Spandex.
Even with all our fancy tech locked inside, Eudae feels like soft, premium cotton but with all the benefits of the sustainable, eco-friendly fabrics we've come to love. It's the most comfortable fabric blend we’ve ever felt and each long sleeve tee is crafted from about ten recycled bottles.
By sewing locally in Los Angeles and skipping some of the more harmful steps in creation for Eudae products altogether, we’re proud to offer our conscientious adventurers a new alternative.
At the end of the day, we’re not pretending to be staunch vegans ourselves, but we made a decision to base the primary ingredient of midweight Eudae on a renewable source – thus taking livestock and pollution out of the equation completely.
If you have any questions about Eudae, our pride and joy at Pistol Lake, drop us a line at team@pistollake.com and we'd be happy to answer anything and everything.
